On a crisp October’s day I went to the beautiful Prestonfield House, a boutique hotel in Edinburgh set in it’s own grounds, to get Sarah and her bridal party ready. This is such a luxurious and opulent setting for the morning of a wedding so it felt extra special. There were quite a few of us gathered in the suite for the preparation, including myself, the hairdresser and many family members coming and going. It’s always a privilege to do any bride’s makeup but this was a lovely occasion as Sarah was the bridesmaid for one of the first brides I ever did (Heather) so it was great to be invited back to do her wedding makeup. I had such a fun morning with her whole family, her sisters made me laugh a lot, they really cracked me up. We had decided on a natural, polished look which enhanced their features for Sarah and her bridesmaids and a stronger lip for her mum. I look hilarious in the second photo, this is my concentrating face, and super pale, thanks Scotland! Many thanks to Brian Fischbacher for the photos (www.brianfischbacher.co.uk) and congratulations Sarah and Michael!
